Ghost Country II by raysheaf Ghost Country II by raysheaf
Done in UltraFractal and PShop. Another fractal, post-apocalyptic concept in the "Fallout" mood.

I'm very happy that I found a way at the end how to imitate a thick impasto oil colors layer with fractals. You can see the result in the white areas of the foregound.

I like this a lot! First thought was 1800's London - I can definitely see the post-apocalyptic elements though.

Another fantastic fractal composition, your works are very inspiring and hold a perfect blend of the apperances of modern fractal art and that of 19th and 20th century paintings.

Thanks a lot! As I stated in the comment, I found a way to imitate thick paint layers, yet the thing is hard to control. Yet today I played more, so found a perfectly controllable formula, so in my next works will use this much more properly.

I know!! I mean a screen capture movie that shows the progress as you make this awesome art with UF, I guess you arrange the fractal layers by hand (ok, by mouse), not only with coding, right?

Understood, yet I won't do it sorry :-) I do such pictures fast, about 1h, maximum 1.5h to setup a scene, then I put the render and go to paint something traditional. If it wasn't so fast I would paint such pictures.
