Glory and Fall by raysheaf Glory and Fall by raysheaf
Done in UltraFractal and PShop. Wanted to make this with a bit of the "Fallout" atmosphere, but with more medieval feeling.

It is really nice. I quit like how you can see the background and yet not really. I sorta gives it a "ghostly" look x)

Thanks!!! To setup the scene in UltraFractal about 1.5 hour, 4-5hours rendering for this resolution and 1 hour color calibration, tuning etc.

:wave:Not appropriate for this group but It's my opinion.Too many other elements
that simply diverted basic idea.In this image fractal is indistinguishable so
the overall impression is oil on canvas, photomanip maybe but by no means
fractal manipulation:noes:

What group btw? Also who said a fractal should be a spiral visible to every kid?

XtremeFractals,Did you just call me a kid?Listen buddy
you make excellent art,but your attitude is horrible.
What do you expect, positive feedback all the time.
I'm just being sincere and if you can't accept it
as a fact that's your problem. In your paintings
there is no fractal elements, even imagined and
name says it for itself XTREMEFRACTALS.
Overemphasis of other techniques!!!

Best Regards
Robert

Well look, here [link] you can see a gallery with 200+ fractals, most of them "raw fractals" and some are DDs too, so far rethink a bit. Try to somehow admit that I don't use any single painted pixel in these. When I paint something it goes to corresponding category.

You sound offended buddy, that was not my intention
and I saw your gallery,as I said earlier,excellent
work filled whit effort and ideas also I would say
it's quite unique so enlighten me,tell me something
conquered about your work because you mention you're
using Photoshop, first thing that came to my mind is
digital painting but I guess you're using layers...
So far we have PS and UltraFractal, and then what?
You should be proud on fact that your work can be
identified whit oil on convas.I don't understand
why that bother you, some would accept it as a
compliment.You've misunderstood something.....

I have a tutorial here [link] where I explain some techniques. In fact there are some suggestions how one can cut whatever shape may need from very basic fractals.

What a beautiful series this is. The cannon shot through the sail tells the story of the work, while the rest of the scene is almost abstract...The light area on the ship...brilliant! What a FAVE!
