Made this fractal as people may think I forgot how to make realistic ones ;-) Inspired by the book and of course by the best movie for 2012 imho - "Cloud Atlas". Haven't done fractal lightning up to the moment, but it took me only 5 minutes to adapt a formula that generates endless variations of it :-)

As soon as I looked at this I was reminded of the ship that Dracula took to get to England. I love this.

Which movie, the one by Copola? This was the best so far for me!!!

I was thinking both of Copola's movie and the book itself, since in my mind the two are so intertwined. Plus, as much as I adore Dwight Fry, Tom Waits was my favorite Renfield.

Yes, this movie is one of the most stylish and elegant movies ever. The book is also a pure classic :-)

I was a crewman on a ship in a previous life; sometimes I'll see an image like this and it'll just hit me in the gut - not the image itself, though there is a lot there, but the perfect atmosphere of it.

Greetings and Salutations to you again Master Ziegfrid : aka Raysheaf aka : fractal sea scape Master

Diagnosis Critéria : Compositionality : balanced : Light construct : a sea scape charged with blood curdling levels of emotionality, heightened by accentuations of your minds frequentation status static-dicalarity manifesting electricity, bombarding the electronic canvas : Data : a sea scape, stretching from front to back indefinitely submerging into obscurity : Data : colored tone theme defined as : last trip on the ocean of the doomed on the journey to the unknown : Data : love the atmospherics, especially the kiss of a hint of red hitting the body of a live ocean : Data : all the components are characters here : Data : the energy plays the role of the lightening, who hits the sea, who is passive and calm and vulnerable on the right, its powers makes the sea bleed red blood which rises to the surface on the extreme left of th canvas . . . beautifully done . . . Thank you exquisite!

Intro : image : Data : Journey to the unknown

My dearest mother, It was her, she brought me into the world, into the world of sunshine, the world of flowers, yellow daffodils and rushing breezes blowing my hair into my eyes, and slapping it against my cheeks, into my mouth, it used to be long, memories, memories, childish memories! I cherish in my heart, phase's people go through growing from boy to man, from man to soldier, from solider to sailor combatant extraordinaire, . . . wars, fought I have many, but, now responsible, with a ship full on my men, and no map, to guide, me, I am as captain, am lost, truly lost! If I am lost, . . . so then is my ship, we sail aimlessly to meet an uncertain destiny, no lie, thats not true, . . . death is our final destiny and in this ship we head for it with certainty! The sea is so big, because of my pride I lie, keep the truth from them, my men, fearful to reveal to them I am lost, oh GOD, it's so lonely being boss,
