Open Sea - Dangerous Drift II by raysheaf Open Sea - Dangerous Drift II by raysheaf
Acrylic colors on canvas, 60X50cm. One of my best fractals now in traditional art. Always wanted to make this one.

Thank you! I love how this one ended too, but it was based on a excellent fractal project I made.

Acrylic and canvas as it should be done, the caption has a rare choice of a word, "make". What's fractal about it or does that mean the lack of a brush in your hand? I'd like to know.

The answer is simple, it is based on a fractal I made previously - this one [link]

About 4.5-5 hours, however on 2 sessions as for some technique I need it completely dry.

This is proof of the old saw that people make art at the level they were at when they either stopped in high school or continued. Every time I want to pick up my charcoals and pencils and practice, i see this and hang my head.

Thanks a lot for the nice words!!! Well I made this one very fast, as it is based on a fractal I love and sold many prints. However this is a work for personal use, I just need it on my wall. Now painting like mad, have 3 exhibitions this Summer to prepare. Today almost finished for 3,5hours one at 80X60cm. Probably tomorrow will be ready, really had to speedup things. Good thing is that more one works, things are done faster and easier.

I have a special place, that I would like to decorate a bit as a captain's cabin. I've seen some authentic in the naval museum in Madrid and like them a lot. :-)

This is personal work, I just need it on my wall as I sold some prints of the fractal. Yet a painting always stands bolder.
